Amusement parks in Emilia Romagna
Romagna is very famous for its water parks throughout Europe; just think that there are more than 10 parks scattered throughout the Riviera that is well known is the ideal place for those who love fun and summer. The theme parks of Romagna are very popular every year by thousands of tourists as they are suitable to satisfy any need. It is possible, in fact, to discover wonderful opportunities both in terms of leisure activities and in terms of culture, thanks to dolphinariums, water parks, theme parks and amusement parks. In Cattolica, we find the most important marine park, the Cattolica aquarium: the Le Navi Park, full of tanks inhabited by fish from all over the world, including sharks. Outside the Aquarium, the Park, with games for children, fountains and shops for shopping on the theme of the sea. Very famous, thanks also to Radio Deejay, is the Aquafan amusement park in Riccione, full of breathtaking games and slides such as the "Kamikaze" and the "Twister". Not far away, Fiabilandia, ideal for families with children. At the motorway exit of Rimini Nord, instead, we find Italia in Miniatura… a museum park of the most famous monuments of Italy reconstructed in scale. The park has been enriched by the presence of some European cities, from miniature Venice that can be visited in the traditional gondola to some fun water games.
Towards the north direction Ravenna, about 40 km from Cattolica, we find the famous Mirabilandia, amusement park of about 700,000 square meters with truly breathtaking shows and attractions like the highest Russian roller coasters in Europe.
For fans of the Mini Golf and the less frenetic fun we find on the seafront, after Misano Adriatico, Indiana Golf ... a maxi mini-golf in the countryside, with jumps and passages between ponds and waterfalls.

Fun for children
In Cattolica, in addition to the typical game rooms where children have lots of video games, electric cars, rides etc. there are some free open-air entertainment, such as water games at 100 m. to the north from the dancing Piazza delle Fontane (at the end of Via Fiume) and the Peace Park with lots of green space, the pond and the games. For the older children, here, there is also a "health path" to stay in shape.
Cattolica and the Adriatic Riviera by night
For lovers of the night, dancing, music and disco parties on the Riviera, Cattolica occupies a truly privileged position being very close to the most famous clubs, the most famous discos of Romagna, reachable in a few minutes by car. Within a radius of about 10 km, from Cattolica it is possible to reach the main discos located on the hills of Misano Adriatico, Riccione and Gabicce. Very close to the famous Baia Imperiale of Gabicce Mare, reachable on foot only 1 km from the city center; a rich list of events that you can find in Cattolica during the summer and New Year period.
In the streets and squares it is easy to find soloists and / or small orchestras playing live music until late in the evening, free live music and connoisseurs. For the more demanding, however, a large program of events "orchestrated" by the local Municipal Administration, covers the whole year with classical music concerts, big bands, ensembles and songwriters, which combined with the theater program in the "Theater della Regina" is able to satisfy anyone, even the most demanding music player.
These events, often of national and international caliber, take place in the central Piazza della Repubblica, or in the small Piazza Mercato, where students from the smooth Latin American dance schools of the city often perform.
In Piazza 1 ° Maggio, one of the most beautiful squares of the Riviera, practically an immense garden a stone's throw from the sea, you can watch every evening, even during the winter period, the colorful spectacle of the Dancing Fountains, fountains that move to the rhythm of music.
